In Pörtschach, the Kleine Zeitung Wörthersee Half Marathon leads runners directly along the scenic lakeside promenade, guiding the course across the picturesque peninsula. The finish line directly on the Klagenfurt promenade ensures an unforgettable finale right by Lake Wörthersee.
The AK Quarter Marathon starts right on the peninsula, giving all participants a wonderful panoramic view and an absolute running delight. There are also new features for the Quarter Marathon and the Wörthersee Walk. Previously, the AK Quarter Marathon and the Wörthersee Walk started together, but at this year’s edition of Kärnten Läuft, the starts will be held separately in blocks. The Nordic Walking start signal will take place 10 minutes after the Quarter Marathon.
With this, nothing stands in the way of a joyful and atmosphere-filled running weekend. It’s no coincidence that the motto of Kärnten Läuft this year is once again: “Pack your running shoes and your swimsuit!”
