Some of the runs at K\u00e4rnten L\u00e4uft are now marked as \u201chealth runs\u201d. For such \u201chealth competitions\/runs\u201d there will be a timekeeping, but no ranking. Instead of an award ceremony, prizes will be awarded to the participants of these competitions in form of a raffle.<\/p>\n<p>The following events will be conducted as health competitions this year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dog Run<\/li>\n<li>Hyundai Family Run<\/li>\n<li>Raiffeisen Nordic Ladies Walk<\/li>\n<li>Komperdell W\u00f6rthersee Walk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"39\" data-end=\"522\">With this change, our goal is to highlight how important sport is for our health and how secondary rankings can be in our everyday lives. The shared experience and the challenge are at the heart of it. Of course, the ranking list will remain in place for the other races in order to encourage sporting ambition. However, K\u00e4rnten L\u00e4uft stands for the joy of running and togetherness, and we believe that we can best achieve this for all our visitors through our new \u201chealth events.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"668\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Timekeeping, as in all races, will once again be done using RFID tags, which are attached to the back of the race bib (no separate chip needed).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For some competitions, there will be a change in evaluation and in the \u201ctarget formulation\u201d starting in 2016.
